Tesla Giga Texas

If you're in the Bastrop Texas area for a weekend trip consider checking out this amazing electric car factory, Texas Giga Texas also known as Gigafactory Texas.  Elon Musk has made this the new global headquarters and it will be the manufacturing hub for Model Y and the future home of the Cybertruck.  It is located near the Colorado River at 13101 Harold Green Road, Austin, Texas 78725. Read Much More Here.

Tesla recently celebrated the opening of the largest car factory in the world by throwing a massive grand-opening party inviting thousands of guests to their "Cyber Rodeo" event at Giga Texas.  It was one of the biggest events Texas has seen and probably one of the most celebrated because this will mean jobs for thousands of Texans. The party ended at midnight and although many traveled from all over, one thing everyone had in common was their love for Tesla and the man behind the brand.

The Gigafactory is one of the largest buildings in the world. The facility is 338 million cubic feet, or 15 city blocks.  Musk said, "It's equivalent to three Pentagons." Not only will this be the country's biggest factory by size, it will also be the highest volume in the U.S. once the auto plant is fully ramped up.

The future is bright as climate change concerns and rising oil prices boost the need for electric vehicles.  As one Texas resident said, "I think that anywhere Elon shows up he brings a lot of energy." The company is scaling their operations so efficiently that they plan on producing about 2 million vehicles annually within the next few years.  That is more than Tesla has produced in 2021. See Bastrop State Park for a great getaway.

We are excited to see all the development of this Austin based facility because this will include Elon Musk new Boring Company which is now located in Bastrop Texas at 130 Walker-Watson Rd Bastrop, TX 78602.   The Boring Company is committed to solving traffic and transportation challenges by creating safe, fast-to-dig, and low-cost transportation, utility, and freight tunnels. This will save some companies millions of dollars in revenue every year because it will cut the cost of "soul-destroying traffic" and fuel consumption. This will be a welcome to the serious traffic problems we have here in Austin and surrounding areas.
